Rain Forest Adventures’ Costa Rica Achieves Sustainable Certification

Rain Forest Adventures’ Costa Rica parks have received a Certification for Sustainable Tourism (CST) Level 5, the highest tier, from the Costa Rica Tourism Board. The CST program categorizes and certifies tourism businesses in Costa Rica that demonstrate sustainability in their operations.

The CST evaluation measures a company’s interaction and appropriate use of natural resources and culture, improvement of the quality of life within local communities, and the economic success of its industry.

“It is an honor to be recognized in Costa Rica’s top sustainable tourism sites,” said Eugenia Solano, general manager for Rain Forest Adventures Costa Rica Atlantic and Pacific. “Our teams at each park can take great pride in knowing their tremendous effort earned this certification.”
