Puerto Rico to open first all-in hotel in December

The first large-scale all-inclusive hotel, the Paradisus Puerto Rico being built in Rio Grande, will definitely swing its gates wide open on Dec. 19 this year.

Paradisus’ front office will launch a couple of job marketplaces this week –one in Carolina and another in Fajardo- for the initial hiring of 250 to 300 employees that will make up the payroll of this lodging facility that promises to put Puerto Rico on the Caribbean map as far as this concept is concerned.

For this purpose, the trademark has hired the services of Management Search and Recruiting Service to provide the necessary logistics and conduct all initial screening interviews that will allow Paradisus to handpick the strongest candidates that’ll work at the hotel. The total payroll will be of 570 workers.

Ramon Sanchez, chief of the hotel’s Sales and Marketing Division –the establishment is owned by Spanish company Sol Meliá Hotels & Resorts- said roughly 70 percent of all construction works have been completed and crews are currently giving the finishing touches to the resort’s gardens, roads and the facades.
