Private Jets to Have Another Airport Option in Jamaica

The Boscobel Aerodrome near Ocho Rios, Jamaica, is expected to become an international point of entry for private jets during the first quarter of 2010. Private jets will be able to bypass the international airports in Kingston and Montego Bay.
The Airports Authority of Jamaica and the Tourism Enhancement Fund are expected to foot the $3.4 million bill to expand the runway, construct a new terminal building and install customs, immigration and security facilities, according to the Jamaica Gleaner.
