Prague to Host Central Europe Travel Mart
The 16th international fair MADI Travel Market (Nov. 3 to 5) in Prague is the largest 100 percent B2B professional event in the travel business of Central-Eastern Europe. About 450 exhibitors from 30 countries and more than 5,200 trade visitors participate every year. The event will take place in Fairground PVA, Prague-Letnany.
Apart from a strong participation from Mediterranean area (especially Italy, Croatia, Cyprus, Spain, and Greece) and Central Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria), the exhibitors from all remaining parts of Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America are also expected. The MADI Fair hosts several thousands trade visitors from more than 50 countries every year.
An accompanying program including about 40 events will be prepared. This extensive program consists of number of workshops, firm presentations, press conferences and seminars as well as cultural and social events for participants (sightseeing tours, EDU-trips and excursions for the hosted Buyers, concerts etc.).
In cooperation with national Tourist Boards many satellite workshops are held during three days of the MADI fair of the specified times in the workshops halls of the PVA venue. This year Workshop of Czech regions, Slovak Workshop and Croatian Workshop are organized. Currently the organizers are preparing and arranging Hungarian and British workshops during the fair too.
The MADI Hosted Buyer Program is exclusively for invited representatives of companies from abroad engaged in outgoing to the Czech Republic. This program is held for the eighth time this year. The main objective is to provide a productive atmosphere for business dealings, consultations and meetings with MADI exhibitors as well as to demonstrate the vast potential of Prague, the Czech Republic and Central Europe as a tourist destination.
