Pleasant Unveils Caribbean Brochure
Pleasant Holidays, which re-entered the Caribbean in March after a two-year absence, released its 2008-2009 Caribbean vacation brochure, featuring 11 destinations and 89 resorts.
“This is our core group of islands and hotels, which represents phase one of our new package program,” said Jack Richardson, Pleasant’s president and CEO.
Phase two of the operator’s Caribbean thrust will launch at the end of the year or in the first quarter of 2009, according to Richards. Pleasant has partnered with several carriers that serve the Caribbean from the mainland U.S.
The operator’s new brochure includes property classifications based on Pleasant Holidays’ five-star rating system, travel tips, and insurance protection plans. Pleasant is paying 16 percent commission through May 31 on bookings for travel any time.
