Pleasant Holidays Adds Puerto Peñasco in Mexico

Pleasant Holidays added Puerto Peñasco, or Rocky Point, to its 2008 Mexico travel program, bringing the number of its Mexico destinations to 24 and its hotels to 185.
Located in Mexico’s northwest State of Sonora, Puerto Peñasco is 62 miles south of the U.S. border and the closest beach resort to Arizona.

Rocky Point has been a popular vacation destination for many years; it has recently been developed into a resort town for travelers to enjoy the sea, sun, beaches, dining, golf and fishing.

Pleasant Holidays will feature the Las Palomas Beach & Golf Resort, a condominium-style resort with 430 oceanfront suites, and Mayan Palace Puerto Peñasco, which features nearly four miles of beach and an 18-hole golf course. Puerto Peñasco is a 1.5 hour flight from Los Angeles and approximately a four-hour drive from Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona.
