Palm Beach County is celebrating its centennial with a once-in-a-century opportunity for meetings and conventions. Finalize a group contract before Sept. 30 and receive a $1,909 or more incentive rebate at participating hotels. Through the incentive rebate program, meeting planners may secure rebates from $1,909 to $4,909 from an incentive rebate fund totaling $150,000.

Groups booking a minimum of 300 room nights will be eligible for a $1,909 rebate; groups booking a minimum of 600 room nights will be eligible for a $2,909 rebate; groups booking a minimum of 900 room nights will be eligible for a $3,909 rebate; and groups booking a minimum of 1200 room nights will be eligible for a $4,909 rebate.

The county is also celebrating the opening of Hyatt Place West Palm Beach/Downtown. Officially welcoming guests in February, the property is the latest major hotel to be built in downtown West Palm Beach.

With 165 guestrooms and over 1,500 square-feet of meeting space, Hyatt Place is conveniently located 3.3 miles from Palm Beach International Airport and three blocks from the Palm Beach County Convention Center.

In Palm Beach Gardens the Doubletree, with 279 guest rooms, offers the new Executive Meeting Center and more than 15,000 square-feet of meeting space, which can accommodate up to 500 guests.

Also, the new Hilton Garden Inn in Palm Beach Gardens, featuring 175 rooms, offers 5,000 square-feet of meeting space. In 2008, the Brazilian Court opened The Pavilion, adding two new meeting rooms.
