Palace Resorts to Open New Property in Punta Cana

A little Caribbean news managed to sneak its way into Mexico trade show, Tianguis Turistico in Acapulco as Gabriel Monroy, sales manager for Palace Resorts, which has properties in Isla Mujeres and other regions of Mexico, told us about the expected opening of a new Punta Cana, Dominican Republic property.

The Moon Palace, Punta Cana will have 1,700 rooms and a casino and is expected to draw families. The property is slated to open by November 15, but that sounds like wishful thinking to Travel Agent since groundbreaking has not begun yet.
