Orlando’s International Plaza Resort Names Greg Gooding General Manager

Greg Gooding joined International Plaza Resort & Spa as general manager, heading the multimillion-dollar transformation of the 28-acre hotel in heart of Orlando’s entertainment and convention corridor.

Gooding previously served as general manager of South Seas Island Resort, a 330-acre luxury resort in Captiva Island, Fla. While there, he led a team of more than 500 employees through the property’s 18-month, multimillion-dollar revitalization and repositioning following extensive damage caused by Hurricane Charley.

Prior to this position, Gooding spent nearly a decade with Wyndham Worldwide, where he managed leading luxury properties in North America and the Caribbean. As general manager of International Plaza Resort & Spa, Gooding will draw upon his vision and expertise in hospitality operations, marketing and re-branding to position the expansive and strategically located hotel as a premier destination resort.
