Occidental Announces Summer Sale

Occidental Hotels & Resorts added Royal Hideaway Playacar to its summer sale by offering a fifth night free at the resort. That translates into $600 in savings per couple. In addition, Occidental has lowered rates and extended its summer sale on Grand and Allegro vacations at resorts throughout Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.

Plus, kids ages three to 12 vacation for free at all Allegro resorts. That represents a savings of $53 to $73 per child, per night. Travel dates for savings on children’s stays include now through Dec. 19, 2008.

Summer travelers must book by July 1, 2008 to take advantage of these low rates for travel now through Aug. 31, 2008. All rates are per person, per night based on double occupancy at these participating resorts: Allegro Playacar, Mexico, starting from $73; Allegro Playa Dorada, Dominican Republic, starting from $56; Allegro Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico, starting from $67; Occidental Grand Xcaret, Mexico, starting from $101; Occidental Grand Cozumel, Mexico, starting from $127 Occidental Grand Punta Cana, Dominical Republic, starting from $81; and Occidental Grand Papagayo, Costa Rica, starting from $147.
