NYC Operator to Begin Guided Tours to Cuba in April 2015

A tour operator based in New York City will begin taking American tourists to Cuba next year. The 11-day smarTours Cuba vacation will begin in April and May 2015 from $2,999 per person based on double occupancy, including airfare.

Due to limited availability and significant demand, Cuba tours are available for repeat smarTours clients only until December 18. Any new smarTours customer can sign-on for a Cuba tour after that date.

Tours include one night in Miami, three nights in Havana, two nights in Cienfuegos, two nights in Camaguey and two nights in Holguin.

Highlights of those tours include: riding in American vintage cars in Havana, visiting the home of Ernest Hemingway in Havana, seeing Casa Fuster in Havana, visiting the Bay of Pigs Museum in Giron, touring a cigar factory in Cienfuegos, taking a walking tour of Trinidad, going to an artist studio in Camaguey, visiting the King Ranch in Camaguey, relaxing on the beaches of Guardalavaca in Holguin, and going to the Neon Theater in Holguin.

All tours include: round-trip airfare from Miami, airfare taxes, fees and fuel surcharges, health insurance in Cuba (mandatory), Cuban visa (for US citizens), intra-Cuba ground transportation and transfers, pre-night in Miami, accommodations at first class hotels in Cuba, 27 meals: ten full buffet breakfasts, ten lunches, and seven dinners, comprehensive People-to-People experiences and cultural tours including admission fees, and an experienced Cuban English-speaking guide and a USA tour director throughout.
