Nikki Beach Brings Good Vibes to Panama’s Pacific Coast

Nikki Beach, a hip lifestyle-and-entertainment brand, is just about to open its resort in Panama. Located in the Pacific Coast town of Farallon, about 45 minutes from Panama City, Nikki Beach Resort & Residences Playa Blanca will open its first phase in December.

The master plan features 500 units developed in three phases, with an investment of some $80 million. The first phase includes a 144-room resort with a 118,000-square-foot Nikki Beach Club, a Nikki Beach spa, a gym, a sushi bar and an infinity pool.

In the early stages of developing a brand strategy for Nikki Beach Hotels & Resorts, a new division of the Nikki Beach company, Panama was identified as a highly desirable destination.

This won’t be the last time the Nikki Beach name will pop up in Latin America. Future projects in the region include Costa Rica; the island of Roatan in Honduras; Cartagena, Colombia; and Playa del Carmen, Cabo San Lucas and Cancun in Mexico. Portugal, Cape Verde and Grenada are also slated to welcome the Nikki Beach brand in the coming years.
