Newly Named &Beyond Expands into Central, South America

&Beyond, which announced its name change from Conservation Corporation Africa (or CC Africa), and trumpeted a global expansion that will span three continents. &Beyond is taking its safari and responsible tourism model beyond Africa and India and into Central and South America.

&Beyond CEO Steve Fitzgerald said the word “Africa” no longer accurately reflected the company’s operating regions and the word “Corporation” was a “dampener, because who wants to go on vacation with a corporation?”

The expansion of &Beyond also includes the opening of two new lodges in India, Kenya and Tanzania, and is in discussions with the government of Madagascar about the construction of luxury lodges in that country’s national parks.
