New Tourism Officials in Mexico

Francisco Madrid Flores took over as new Undersecretary of Tourism Operations, thus replacing Emilio Goicoechea Luna who was appointed Mexican President Vicente Fox’s personal secretary.

At the same time, Mexico’s Tourism Secretary Rodolfo Elizondo Torres appointed Oralia Rice to substitute Mr. Flores as Undersecretary of Tourism Planning.

Mrs. Rice has a college degree in Marketing Techniques and has over fifteen years of experience under her belt in the areas of feasibility analysis and real-estate development. In addition to that, Mrs. Rice has vast expertise in marketing planning and strategy and has taken part in countless negotiations for the acquisition and sale of properties and tourist resorts in both Mexico and other Latin American countries.
