New Caribbean Media Television Network Scheduled to Debut on Sunday April 21
Total Caribbean Network, an IPTV network whose vision is to provide interconnectivity with Caribbean nationals worldwide, while exposing the non-nationals to our vibrant culture will launch TCNplus+ IPTV, a new media television network scheduled to debut on Sunday April 21st, 2013, in Elmont New York.
The announcement for this grand debut was made last month on the company’s news syndicated website Hott Caribbean Radio by Junior George, President and Chief Executive Officer of TCN.
Upon launching on Sunday April 21st, 2013, TCNplus+ IPTV will feature a series of Live Caribbean channels direct from the Caribbean islands, including a series of channels dedicated to Caribbean lifestyle, shared by Caribbean media houses and pioneers from around the region.
The Channels will feature quality primetime programming 24/7, providing viewers with a variety of culturally relevant shows, “LIVE” from their television set. TCNplus+ IPTV will position stations on its network ranging from News, Politics, music, Gospel, Caribbean and African Movies and many more, with operational flexibility to additional channels as the platform develops and expands.
More so, TCNplus+ IPTV supported with powerful branding and marketing initiatives that connects locally, regionally and internationally, will maintain and strengthen affiliates’ through community brand recognition, with a complete look and feel of an international Television Network that promotes Nationalism.
Regarding the announcement, Christine Piggott, Director of Programming and Product Development at TCN, stated, “The platform will provide many opportunities for various sectors of the Caribbean culture, tourism and music on a global level. Our Caribbean community is ready to embrace and welcome the platform and we are happy to showcase the Network on April 21st.”
The TCNplus+ box is built on the Roku Platform and retails for $199, with NO MONTHLY BILL! In addition, the Caribbean Option line offered by TCNplus+ IPTV box provides several channels along with our partnership with Aereo, offers all New York’s local Channels including ABC , CBS , FOX , PBS , NBC , CW11, ION, MY Network TV , HSN plus many more for a monthly fee of $8.
Netflix subscribers can also use their currently Netflix account to watch live movies via the TCNplus+ IPTV box or alternatively use Crackle to watch FREE movies with brief commercial interruptions.
The Launch event is expected to be well attended by the business community, fans and New York elected officials. TCNplus will pay a special tribute to Hon. Una Clarke with a branded channel in her honor that will be geared towards informing the community about political and social issues affecting the Caribbean Diaspora.
