NCL Plans Agent Webinars with Top Executives

Norwegian Cruise Line has scheduled eight weekly webinars for travel agents with its top executives. The webinars are only for travel agents who are registered as NCL U students. The first webinar is 4 to 5 p.m. EST Jan. 6 with NCL President and CEO Kevin Sheehan.

On Jan. 12, Andy Stuart, executive vice president-global sales and passenger services, will conduct a webinar on tools, trends and tips for travel partners. All of the webinars from Jan. 12 on will be interactive, allowing travel agents to ask questions.

NCL will draw a free seven-day cruise for two after each webinar from the list of live attending participants. The winning agent will be listed on NCL’s travel partner site (http://www.bookncl.com/) and NCLU (http://www.ncluniversity.com/).

The webinar is limited to the first 1,000 agents that register and log in. After registering, agents will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. System requirements for PC-based attendees are Windows 2000, XP Home, XP Pro, 2003 Server or Vista. Macintosh-based attendees are required to have Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) or newer.

Future webinars scheduled will feature Crane Gladding, senior vice president-revenue management and passenger services, and Vivian Ewart, vice president-passenger services, on Jan. 19. The Jan. 26 webinar will feature Scott Rogers, senior vice president-marketing, and Amy Hiles-Maynard, vice president-marketing.

The Feb. 2 session will feature Terri Burke, vice president-industry relations, and Clark Reber, director-industry relations. Bob Becker, senior vice president-consumer research, will participate on Feb. 9. Feb. 16 will feature Dennis Nau, senior vice president-hotel operations, and Klaus Lugmaier, vice president-shipboard operations. Sheehan will participate again on Feb. 23 to recap.
