NCL Corp. Names Kevin Sheehan President

NCL Corp. confirmed that Kevin Sheehan has been named president, with immediate effect, while retaining his responsibility as chief financial officer. Colin Veitch will remain CEO and will concentrate on corporate strategy, new building, and a variety of longer-term projects for the further development of NCL, both domestically and internationally.

Mr. Sheehan will assume a broad range of responsibilities for the day-to-day operations of the business. In explaining the reason for splitting the two roles, NCL said the company is more than double the size it was when Veitch became president and CEO.

Mr. Sheehan joined NCL as CFO in November 2007. His 30-year business career has included, most recently, being chairman and CEO of Cendant Corp.’s Vehicle Services Division, which included the Avis and Budget rental car companies, PHH Corporation and Wright Express. He also served as CFO of Cendant Corp. and prior to that as president and CFO of Avis Group Inc.
