NCL Appoints New CEO

NCL Corp. has promoted Kevin Sheehan to CEO, replacing Colin Veitch, who will become an advisor to the board of directors. Sheehan, left, will retain his duties as NCL’s president and chief marketing officer.

Mr. Sheehan is now responsible for day-to-day operations and long-term corporate strategy. He joined NCL in November 2007 as chief financial officer and was named president in August 2008.

Before joining NCL, Mr. Sheehan was chairman and CEO of Cendant Corp.’s Vehicle Services Division, which included the Avis and Budget car rental car companies.

In Stuart’s new role, he will be responsible for global sales, revenue management, passenger services, public relations and global distribution strategy.
