Monograms Expands Exotic Portfolio Selections for 2011

Monograms’ 2011 product line includes its largest-ever selection of Asia, South America, South Pacific and Africa packages. “After the excitement of planning a ‘first’ trip to an exotic locale wears thin, travelers are sometimes faced with fear -- fear of failing to design and experience the perfect escape,” said Scott Nisbet, president and chief executive officer for the Globus family of brands. “Enter Monograms. We ensure the first time to a foreign destination is memorable for the fun it provides our travelers versus fumbles and faux pas.”

Monograms provides clients a local host in dozens of destinations around the globe. The on-site local expert helps Monograms vacationers get to know their destination by coordinating a half-day of sightseeing. Local Hosts also work with travelers to personalize their experience by providing suggestions, making excursion arrangements and answering questions while taking care of such details as facilitating transportation between cities. On Monograms’ new Africa getaways, local hosts are sometimes replaced by personal guides and experienced rangers to make for amazing and awe-inspired, private safaris. “On our new Africa vacations, we offer travelers everything from open-air game drives in Land Rovers to luxury tented camp stays in Botswana and Zambia to create authentic and life-changing experiences,” said Nisbet.

New Monograms Africa programs include Best of Kenya (nine days), Kenya & Tanzania Explorer (15 days), Untouched Botswana (nine days) and South Africa & Botswana (13 days). In the South Pacific, Monograms is introducing Driving Vacations on three new itineraries -- New Zealand Explorer (14 days), Highlights of New Zealand (10 days) and Spectacular South Island (eight days). Other new exotic Monograms vacation packages in South America, Asia and India include Andean Explorer (10 days), Flavors of Vietnam & Cambodia (11 days), Best of Thailand (nine days) and India’s Golden Triangle (eight days). “While traveling on your own, you’re not alone, with Monograms,” said Nisbet. “We do the heavy lifting -- pre-trip and on-site -- so our travelers can immerse themselves in enriching experiences and truly enjoy every moment of their much-needed and well-deserved getaway.”
