MLT Vacations has announced it will add a $10-per-seat fuel surcharge to all roundtrip air fares on all Worry-Free Vacations-branded packages.

“We are raising the prices of our Worry-Free charters $10 to cover the increased fuel expenses we continue to incur,” Ken Pomerantz, president and chief marketing officer for MLT Vacations, said in a statement. “It appears that the cost of fuel is not going to drop any time soon and that high fuel prices are now a permanent reality for our business.”

The fuel-related price increase is in the form of a fare increase and is fully commissionable to travel agents, MLT said. Worry-Free Vacations is a product of MLT Vacations, a wholly owned subsidiary of Northwest Airlines Corp.
