Miguel Mirones Diez. New president of the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute

Miguel Mirones Diez has taken over as president of the Spanish Tourism Quality Institute (ICET) on the heels of its Board of Directors´ biennial renovation meeting. D. Hans Veyrat was elected the institute´s vice president, while Jose Manuel Asin and Placido Caballero were voted in as secretary and treasurer, respectively.

Miguel Mirones, 38, is a professional with a solid and outstanding career who´s currently president of both the Cantabria´s ICTE local office and hostel association. He had his big professional break back in 1986. Two years later he opened La Posada del Sauce Hotel. In 1995, the Castelar Group saw the light of day and he was picked president. The group´s additions include the Termas Marinas Castelar Hotel in Santander, the Valdelateja Spa in Burgos and the Cestona Spa in Guipœzcoa.
