Midwest Airlines Continues Layoffs, Cutting 186 Jobs
Midwest Airlines, which cut nearly 1,200 jobs in July, will lay off another 186 employees, including 72 pilots, 82 flight attendants and 31 non-union employees, working in the airport and at the airline’s hangar facility.
The layoffs will begin in November. The airline said they would be temporary but did not have a date for employees’ reinstatement. The airline said fuel prices are the reason for the layoff.
