Miami Beach Gains Reputation as Nightlife Destination

Miami Beach has gained a reputation as a top nightlife destination, according to an online survey conducted by Harris Interactive for the Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority.

The survey uncovered that 66 percent of those polled believed travelers choose Miami Beach for its nightlife. Forty-six percent believed the city boasts a sexy image that makes it a hot destination.

Eighty-four percent of respondents said Miami Beach was well known as a beach destination, and 78 percent believed travelers chose the city because of good weather.
