Mexico’s Volaris Airline Launches U.S. Service
On March 17, 2011, Mexico’s low-cost carrier Volaris introduced service between Mexico City’s Benito Juarez International Airport and Oakland International Airport. The company will launch the new service beginning May 6 with daily flights.
The company also announced service from Monterrey to Los Angeles with three weekly flights on Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. In December, Volaris received three new aircraft, increasing its fleet to 26.
