Mexico’s Riviera Nayarit Highlights New, Upgraded Hotels

Riviera Nayarit, on Mexico’s Pacific Coast, continues to attract major investments and the biggest names in international resort development. Grand Palladium Resorts & Hotels has completed a $30 million transformation of the all-inclusive Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa.

Hard Rock International has announced that the Vallarta Palace in Nuevo Vallarta has been transformed into the new Hard Rock Puerto Vallarta. Occidental Hotels & Resorts has re-opened the Occidental Grand Nuevo Vallarta after a $14 million renovation.

Four Seasons Punta Mita has just completed a series of upgrades including renovations of the Tamai adult pool and its cabanas, new games and flat-screen televisions in its game room, opening of the Nawua Gourmet Store including Mexican foods and handicrafts, refurbishments to the Four Seasons Yacht and renovations of Nua bar.

By mid-2012, guest rooms will be upgraded with new furniture, artwork, lamps and bathroom accessories. Meeting rooms and the Numa Pool will also be refurbished. Hotel Des Artistes in Punta Mita has reopened as Hotel Cinco featuring a healthy lifestyle, including an emphasis on local, farm-to-table dining.
