Mexico’s Capella Bahia Maroma Names Julian Smaldoni GM

Capella Hotels and Resorts appointed Julian Smaldoni as general manager of Capella Bahia Maroma, a luxury resort and residential community in Mexico’s Riviera Maya set to open in the spring 2009.

In his position, Mr. Smaldoni will oversee all operations of Capella Bahia Maroma, including its residential offerings and the 89-villa Capella Hotel, set within 254 secluded acres and along a mile of pristine beachfront facing the Great Maya Reef. Capella Bahia Maroma will be the third resort in Mexico for the rapidly expanding luxury brand.
