Marquis Los Cabos Offers New Schooner Experience

Marquis Los Cabos Beach, Golf, Spa and Casitas Resort in Mexico is offering guests use of its new 80-foot Turkish schooner, sailing the Sea of Cortez. The latest addition to Marquis’ arsenal of luxury experiences, the Novia Mia (“My Girlfriend”) debuted this month at the Marina of San Lucas.

The air-conditioned Novia Mia, managed by local company Barcos que Cantan and operated by Marquis Los Cabos, houses six cabins with bathroom; one kitchen; two dining rooms for indoor and outdoor dining; sun deck and TV with DVD player.

Built in 2005, the schooner can accommodate eight overnight guests and 35 passengers for day excursions and has a crew of four. Guests can extend their Marquis Los Cabos experience from land onto the sea with butler service and signature cuisine from the resort’s chef.

Four exclusive packages are currently available with the schooner –the Snorkel Tour, Sunset Tour, Private Tour and Wedding Package. Guests do not need to stay at Marquis Los Cabos in order to experience signature Marquis service in an intimate environment aboard the Novia Mia.
