Mandarin Oriental Names Kurt Wachtveitl Special Adviser

Subsequent to the recent announcement of Kurt Wachtveitl’s retirement after 41 years as general manager of Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has confirmed that Wachtveitl will remain with the group in the capacity of special adviser.

In his new role, the group will continue to benefit from his extensive skills, industry knowledge and experience.

His new responsibilities will include acting as brand ambassador at Mandarin Oriental events worldwide, the recruitment and development of talented employees, and assisting in the development of new hotel projects, restaurant concepts and spa operations.
