Malta’s New Chief of Tourism Promotion

Jeffrey Cutajar took over as Chief of Marketing and Promotion for the Malta Tourism Agency on a pledge to lead and coordinate the work of Maltese travel companies overseas. Mr. Cutajar will also supervise management, marketing, publicity and public relations in an effort to paint a brighter picture of this Mediterranean travel destination.

Mr. Cutajar’s professional career has been closely linked to the promotion of Malta’s tourism since 1987 when he was appointed Interim Director of the Malta National Tourism Organization (MNTO) for the British and Irish markets. Between 1988 and 1992, he served as organization director of the MNTO for Benelux and the Scandinavian Peninsula. He remained as full-fledged director of the MNTO for the British and Irish markets until 1999.
