Lufthansa Appoints New Regional Director in Asia, Down Under

Germany´s Lufthansa Airlines has announced the appointment of Claudia M. Huegel to the position of Regional Director for Singapore, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Australia and New Zealand.

Prior to this post, Ms. Huegel was General Manager of Global Sales Development. Based in Frankfurt, she was responsible for Lufthansa´s sales strategy and the airline´s positioning worldwide from 2001.

The key appointment follows the assignment of Mr. Arved von zur Muehlen to the role of Managing Director in Greater China. He is the predecessor of Ms. Huegel and was Regional Director for the past three years.
