Lufthansa Adds Smartphone App for Windows Phone 8

Lufthansa unveiled a smartphone app for users of Windows Phone 8. The app features a live-tile function that continually updates the flight status on the start screen without having to open the app.

When the right connection is located, users can book on the app and file their electronic boarding pass in their smartphone. The free app works with all of the most widely-used mobile smartphone operating systems including Android, Apple iOS, BlackBerry and also Windows Phone 8.
