Los Cabos CVB Appoints 2009 Board of Directors

The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau announced the results of its 2009 elections and committee appointments. Gonzalo Franyutti De La Parra has been elected for a second term as president of the Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau for 2009. Franyutti is also the general manager of Chileno Bay Club.

Also elected were Ella Messerli, general manager of Marquis Los Cabos, who will serve a second term as the vice president of marketing for 2009; Carlos Eugenio Aquino Toribio, general manager of Villa del Arco, elected vice president of administration; Miguel Torres Inzunza, general manager of Dreams Los Cabos Suites Golf Resort & Spa, elected for a second term as vice president of special events and local activities; and Maria Gregoria Osako Cruz, general manager of Pueblo Bonito Rose, will serve once again as the vice president of operations.

The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Bureau is a membership-based organization comprised of 54 owners and managers of the destination’s leading hotels, which sponsors and oversees master planning, as well as marketing and promotional events throughout the destination. The Los Cabos Convention & Visitors Board of Directors is elected annually by its members.
