LIAT Names Interim CEO

Brian Challenger, a member of LIAT’s board of directors since 2006, was named interim CEO until a permanent head is appointed to replace Mark Darby, whose contract was not renewed, according to LIAT Chairman Jean Holder.

“We want to assure our customers, suppliers, employees and the public that despite the change in the company’s leadership, our focus and mission remain the same –to transform LIAT into a profitable carrier, dedicated to quality customer service,” Holder said.

Challenger's background is in aviation law and he has been involved in LIAT's operations over the last 10 years in various capacities.
