Lee Joseph Bracegirdle Premieres Work in Santiago de Cuba

Australian-American composer and director Lee Joseph Bracegirdle has premiered his “Variations for Orchestra” in Cuba and Santiago de Cuba’s Dolores Concert Hall hosted this development. The concerts were held on the 22nd, 8:30 p.m., and Sunday 23rd, 5 o’clock, with performances by this city’s Symphonic Orchestra.

The program also included works composed by German and Russian authors from the classic and romantic periods. So, in addition to the guest director’s work, the attendees enjoyed Ludwing von Beethoven’s Egmont Overture, Wolfang Amadeus Mozart’s 39th Symphony in Mi Bemol Mayor, and Piort Ilich Tchaikovsky’s Opus 31 Slavic March.

Lee Joseph Bracegirdle is a creator with a long and prolific career, which started with musical education in Philadelphia, United States, where he studied piano and different wind instruments. At the age of 14, he began playing the French horn and his artistic life has been marked by this instrument.

This artist studied at the prestigious Juilliard College, in New York, and he developed a multifaceted career as a free-lance, including performances as the main corn of New York’s Philharmonic Orchestra and Brooklyn’s Philharmonic, as well as recordings with numerous jazz representatives.

Lee Joseph Bracegirdle’s curriculum is also enhanced by the presence of such figures as Barbara Streisand, as he participated in a concert tour carried out in 2010, when he was the main corn of Sydney’s International Orchestra. Furthermore, Bracegirdle made his debut as a director in 1990 with the Orchestra of Mozarteum, in Salzburg, Austria, and he was the Musical Director of Australia’s Ballet de Chambre since 1996.
