Kayak Launches Free Itinerary Tool

Travel search engine Kayak has launched a free itinerary management tool. Called Kayak Trips, it consolidates travel components from multiple travel sites into one itinerary.

To use the service, travelers forward booking confirmation e-mails from travel suppliers and online agencies to their Kayak account. Kayak said the new tool enables travelers, with a single click, to share their trip details with others.

Features include travel alerts and calendar integration. Kayak is slated to include integration with the Kayak iPhone and other mobile applications in the next few weeks.
