JW Marriott Marquis Miami Names Vanessa Selva Director, Social Event Sales

The JW Marriott Marquis Miami appointed Vanessa Selva as director of social event sales. The 313-room JW Marriott Marquis Miami is the first Marquis in the JW Marriott brand, which signifies the highest levels of comfort, technology, personal service, meeting and event facilities along with world-class amenities. In her new position, Mrs. Selva will be responsible for attracting and managing large-scale events.

She will assist meeting and special event planners with all significant functions that leverage the hotels various event spaces, including its 20,000-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the largest in downtown Miami. Prior to her appointment at the JW Marriott Marquis Miami, Mrs. Selva served as senior catering sales manager at the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.
