Jerry Mallett joins Adventure Travel Expo as Chairman

The New York Post Adventures in Travel Expo (ATE), the world´s largest travel and adventure show set to debut January 9 - 11, 2004 in New York City, is pleased to announce that Jerry Mallett has joined as Conference Chairman.

Mr. Mallett brings with him a lifetime of experience in the field of adventure travel, most recently as founder and president of the Adventure Travel Society. The Adventure Travel Society operates as an international consulting firm that assists trade groups, regions and countries with public relations, marketing and environmentally responsible management of tourism and natural resources.

He established Adventure Travel Society to promote the integration of environmentally responsible natural resource management, economic viability, and protection of social values and cultural integrity through tourism.

Mallett also organized the first World Congress on Adventure Travel and Ecotourism, now an annual event. A series of successful World Congress events have been conducted throughout the world.
