James Eramus praised as hotel manager in Aruba

Two months after James Eramus has been in the post as the Front Office Manager for the Marriott´s Aruba Ocean and Surf Clubs, he has been praised as "a shinning example of hospitality ingénues".

In his position, Mr. Eramus oversees day-to-day operations including check-in and check-out, bell service, doorman service, guest satisfaction, employee satisfaction and department´s budget.

Mr. Eramus says he is looking forward to the opening of the Surf Club’s phase in early 2006, that will mean another 124 two-bedroom suites and 20 three-bedroom suites, as well as a full-service lobby. The final phase of the Surf Club, which will encompass two buildings, is currently in the planning stages, the AM daily newspaper reported.

Marriott has relied on local talent for its operation and it has an unprecedented 90 % share of management positions within the Vacation Club.
