This winter, hotels and resorts throughout Jamaica continue to offer savings and special packages, while its national carrier Air Jamaica offers discounted fares.

“Now is a great time for travelers to take advantage of the value found in a Jamaican getaway, as our hotels, resorts and airlines continue to offer special savings this season,” said John Lynch, Jamaica’s director of tourism. “With nonstop flights from many major gateways, Jamaica is an easy and accessible warm weather vacation option.”

Rose Hall Resort & Spa (www.rosehallresort.com), in Montego Bay, offers guests an ocean-front location with one of the Caribbean’s largest water parks, a championship golf course and more. This season, the resort is offering a variety of special savings to visitors.

The property has created its Winter Escape Package, which is valid for travel through April 20. Guests earn a $50 resort credit for every two nights stayed, which can be used at Soothe Spa, a round of golf at Cinnamon Hill, or an afternoon at Sugar Mill Falls Water Park.

The Rondel Village (www.rondelvillage.com), located in Negril, has just announced its February 2009 special, offering savings for guests who book stays of four and six nights.

Visitors who book a six-night stay between now and Feb. 23 for travel between Feb. 17 and March 3 can enjoy the following rates: One-bedroom villa for $1,188 (double occupancy), two-bedroom villa for $1,755 (triple/quadruple occupancy); and extra guests are $27 per person, per night.
