The International School of Hospitality Celebrates First Graduating Classes in Meeting Planning & Event Management
Las Vegas, NV | The International School of Hospitality (TISOH), a subsidiary of Hospitality Experts Consortium, LLC, has announced the graduation of the inaugural classes in the Meeting Planning and the Event Management Certificate programs.
A Certificate Ceremony and Reception was held on December 6 at the Ballroom of the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas to honor the graduates and to commemorate the event.
The honored guest speaker was Dr. Stuart Mann, Dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Dean Mann congratulated the graduates for taking the initiative to enroll in this rigorous program and encouraged them to continue on a path of lifelong learning.
The graduates hold positions at companies including MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Palm Casino Resort and the N9ne Group.
The programs share a core curriculum featuring modules in finance, food & beverage, legal, risk, marketing, vendor and career management. Additionally each program features detailed logistical management modules specific to each industry.
In 2006, both programs will be offered as classroom programs in Las Vegas as well as online for students located anywhere in the world. The first of three classroom programs commence on February 7, while online programs have start dates throughout the year.
