Iberia Is Europe´s Second Big Airline with Fewer Baggage Losses

Spain’s Iberia is one of Europe’s big air carriers with fewer baggage losses in January, second only to Scandinavian Airways (SAS), according to a report issued by Association of European Airlines.

Iberia averages a dozen lost suitcases per every one thousand passengers, while SAS has a slightly lower ratio of 11.7 luggage packs per a thousand travelers. Third place Alitalia puts 16.6 suitcases per a similar amount of flyers in the lost-and-found department. However, Ryanair, a low-budget carrier, sports the lowest average across the board with only 1.2 unaccounted-for bags per every one thousand passengers.
