Hydra Properties to Open First International Property in Mexico

Hydra Properties, a real estate development company based in the United Arab Emirates, broke ground on its $500 million Hydra Waves project in Mazatlan, Mexico.

The development will include a 500-room hotel, a spa and fitness center, a 1,000-seat conference center, a 100,000-square-foot shopping complex, an apartment building and other facilities situated within several towers in Mazatlan’s Tourist Zone.

A completion date was not announced for the project. In addition to the Hydra Waves project, Hydra Properties has five properties open or under development in UAE.
