Hyatt Hotels & Resorts appointed Patrick McCudden as senior vice president of real estate and development, Latin America, as part of the company’s ongoing efforts to advance future growth and brand-preference objectives. McCudden is based at Hyatt’s corporate headquarters in Chicago.

In his new role, McCudden will lead efforts to pursue brand development opportunities throughout Latin America for all brands in Hyatt’s current portfolio. In addition, he will assist with opportunities for new Hyatt Vacation Ownership properties and other large-scale, mixed-use resort developments across the entire Americas region.

Prior to joining Hyatt, McCudden was executive vice president at Juno Properties, LLC, a private real-estate development company specializing in the development of private, gated golf communities.

Earlier, he held a series of senior executive positions with Marriott International’s development organization where he was for 17 years, and was most recently responsible for the development of Ritz-Carlton Club projects, which often included residential and hotel components.
