Holland America Names New Sales Executives

Holland America Line announced three new appointments in its sales department. Page Edmunds has been named director-consumer programs; Janet Engel is now division sales director-central U.S. and Canada; and Gerald Bernhoft will serve as director-national accounts.

Since his return to Holland America in January 2006, Edmunds has led the Central U.S. and Canada sales division. Before rejoining the company, he served as senior director-sales for Renaissance Cruises and director-sales for Cruise West.

Recently the director of national accounts, Engel joined Holland America in July 1999 as its Minnesota-based district sales manager. She also spent eight years with Carnival Cruise Lines as a district sales manager. Bernhoft joined Holland America in January 1985 as district sales manager.

In November 2005, he was promoted to director-retail sales for Windstar Cruises and served in that role until the unit’s sale to Majestic America Line earlier this year. Prior to joining Holland America, he spent eight years with Princess Cruises and Tours.
