Holland America Names Jason Grant IT Director

Holland America Line named Jason Grant as director-fleet information technology. Grant will report to Brent Davidson, vice president-information technology. Grant will oversee all aspects of shipboard applications and technology.

He also will be responsible for implementing a crew management system, system enhancements for the mariner loyalty program and outfitting the technology infrastructure for Nieuw Amsterdam, Holland America Line’s new ship that will sail July 4.

Grant joins Holland America Line from Lindblad Expeditions, where he served as director-information technology. During his 10-year career at Lindblad, Grant managed technology for the expedition line’s fleet.

For all future job postings, Holland America recently implemented a new paperless recruiting system called Virtual Edge. Both internal and external candidates can now create personal profiles on the Holland America website to apply for available jobs.
