Hilton Worldwide Sets Mexico Expansion

Hilton Worldwide, which hosted its fifth annual development forum in Mexico City recently, said it plans to expand throughout the country, including the Home2 Suites brand by Hilton, a mid-tier, extended-stay hotel concept.

Earlier this year, the company opened the Hilton Mexico City Reforma, celebrated the groundbreaking of the Hilton Garden Inn Tuxtla Gutierrez in Chiapas and announced plans to open a Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Merida.

Hilton Worldwide has another 10 hotels in its development pipeline throughout the country. The company also said it will focus on introducing and expanding all Hilton Worldwide brands in Mexico, including Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, Conrad Hotels & Resorts, Hilton and Hilton Grand Vacations.
