Hilton Trinidad Hotel to Undergo Refurbishment

The Hilton Trinidad Hotel, in Trinidad & Tobago, is expected to start renovations this month. Renovations are scheduled to be completed in three phases, and the third and final phase is anticipated to be wrapped up before March 2007.

All areas of the hotel will be refurbished, including guestrooms, meeting facilities, restaurants, entertainment areas and recreational facilities. The number of rooms will increase from 380 to 419, including 20 suites, four relaxation rooms (two warm and two cold), and accessible rooms for the physically handicapped.

All existing rooms as well as the newly added rooms will be outfitted with high-tech fire and safety equipment, plus new electrical fixtures. Twenty suites will be incorporated, along with two expanded Executive Floors.
