Hilton Kingston to Get a Major Facelift

A $15 million renovation project is planned for the 303-room Hilton Kingston in Jamaica. The hotel was purchased this week for $50 million by First Financial Caribbean, a Cayman Islands firm.

The business hotel is in Kingston’s financial district and is flanked by the 310-room Jamaica Pegasus Hotel, the Hilton’s lone major competitor in that part of the capital city.

Hilton, which has 10 properties in the Caribbean, will remain as the management company.
