Hilton Hotel Tahiti Has Closed Permanently
The Hilton Hotel Tahiti has closed permanently on March 31, due to economic reasons. The hotel stopped accommodating guests as of March 19. The property is suggesting that all existing reservations at the Hilton Hotel Tahiti for the month of April be relocated to the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort & Spa or at the Manava Suite Resort Tahiti.
The Hilton reservation department will advise all partners of the relocation recommendation for their guests who have existing reservations and will require a confirmation. The Hilton reservations and sales departments will assist in relocating all existing group reservations.
The company which owns the Hilton Hotel Tahiti has decided to focus on the development of its resorts in Moorea and Bora Bora. This month, the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa completed a $12 million renovation and improvement program.
All bungalows (overwater, beach and garden bungalows) have been fully renovated. This includes construction of a private swimming pool and terrace area for all garden bungalows as well as two new garden suites.
In 2010, the Hilton Bora Bora Nui & Spa will replace all furniture in the bungalows and public areas and will refurbish several of the bungalows and public areas such as restaurants, fitness and spa and will build a new kids club.
