Hilton to Double China Hotels in Coming Years

Hilton Hotels Corp. plans to double the number of its hotels under management in China in the next several years, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
The international hotel company, which now manages five hotels in China, plans to open the Hilton Hefei in eastern China´s Anhui province by the end of 2006.
Plans are now underway for hotels in Shanghai, Macau, Xiamen and Shanxi province, the company´s press release points out.
